About Us
The Sitabai Thite College of Pharmacy was established in the year 1995 with the aim to impart quality education with value based system which would empower the upcoming generation. The college offers Diploma (1995) & Degree (2001) in Pharmacy. In near future College is coming up with Post Graduate & Ph.D. Research Centre.
Our MISSION is to become a center of excellence imparting value based Pharmacy education by empowering Pharmacy professionals with Gyan (Knowledge) Buddhi (Wisdon), Vivek (Consciousness) and swanyapurntha (Self reliance). We also aim to inculcate ethical, social and moral values in all spheres of our training. Our VISION is to create a center of academic excellence in the field of Pharmacy education, training, research and management to produce the highest quality of professionals and altruistic leaders for the betterment of health care of the society. We provide knowledge and skill to enable them to hold their own in a global changing scenario..
Principal's Message
It’s my pleasure to welcome you to the Sitabai Thite college of Pharmacy (POLY); our college of Pharmacy is established with the great vision of Late. Shri Bapusaheb Thite, to provide professional quality education to rural student. In Sitabai Thite College we not only focus on academic growth of the student but also overall development of students. Our Sitabai thite College of pharmacy (D. Pharm.) was established in year 1995.Our college is located in Shirur,Pune The institute is well equipped and complies with all the requirements of AICTE, PCI, DTE, MSBTE Mumbai.
College has excellent infrastructure, experience and dedicated teaching and non teaching staff, 05 laboratories ,a separate computer lab, 2 classrooms, well maintained library with near about 3000 books.We have total 02 class rooms each having projector as well as we have a smart classroom.
The primary focus of STCOP is the holistic development of students. The college also organises various guest lectures, personality development programmes to develop inter-personal communication skill of students. Along with academics we also conducted sport activities, pharma-week, Ganpati festival, dahihandi, gathering and many more activities and festivals in the college premises. Here at STCOP, we value innovation learning and the advancement of knowledge and we value our students, staff, faculty and friends like you. So join with us to grow the pharmacy profession. I am Hrushikesh Vijay Tambe , a student of Sitabai Thite Collage of Pharmacy ( poly), Shirur I have also completed my D.Pharmacy from Sitabai Thite Collage of Pharmacy ( poly), Shirur and it has been a great experience being a part of it. All the teachers here are very much supportive, interactive and are highly qualified. They always support us not only in our study but also mentally. Not only in class time but we also abled to contact our teachers in other time when we needed. Our department often organise seminars and webinars on many interesting topics and also meeting such as parent- teacher meeting, 'Ask the teacher' etc. to be more interactive with us. Every students have a mentor with whom they can discuss their queries and sort out them. There are also placement facilities. University also provides summer internship programme to gain more knowledge and it helps to learn new topics as well . There are also library facilities with good range of knowledge resources, accessible in offline mode. Hostels are also available for girls . A very good cafeteria and 'Food-Court' are available with good food and clean environment. Medical facilities, pharmacy, are also available in campus.

Myself Yukta Milind Doshi and i completed my diploma in pharmacy from Sitabai thite college of Pharmacy(poly),shirur,Pune. The college has its own botanical garden,laboratories for experiments,good educational programs and also opportunities to learn,grow,discover… The college has well trained and experienced staff which helps you out through all your journey of education through out the years. The college made me realise about my strength,confidence and help me for self improvement. The staff including principal has supported us all through out the years. Not only educational opportunities but to help ones in co-curricular activities. I am always thankful for the college for making me different person with positive mindset.

A little about my college My name is Raut Hemant Suresh from Ahmednagar. After 12th Science filled form in four to five places for addmission in Diploma In Pharmacy but no call from any college & lastly filled form in Sitabai Thite Collage Of Pharmacy Shirur. Next Day got a call from the college, i liked the atmosphere there. All the staff were very nice. When the college started, all the teachers guided us very well & made us, even if we made mistakes in our studies, the teachers would say hello & explain it ten times. The college has provided very good facilities for the students, like ladies hostels, spacious play ground.
